February 23, 2015 – New York City, New York – Cereal Music’s show last Tuesday featured the music of young composer Stephanie Ann Boyd, fresh from her NYC debut concert of chamber music the previous Sunday night at Spectrum in Manhattan.

Cereal Music is a feature of WKCR-FM, Columbia University’s non-commercial radio station.

Music heard on the show included recordings of pieces performed on the debut concert, including the cello and piano duet Fantasia Olora (2008), the string orchestra piece Dark Sky Soliloquy (2012), the clarinet trio Auctumnus (2013), and the piano trio Ancestry Variations (2014).

The segment also covered Boyd’s recent activities around Boston, where she is finishing a Masters degree in Music Composition from the New England Conservatory, and where she is co-director of the school’s Tuesday Night New Music concert series.
